This festive season why not opt for a more traditional wooden toy for your toddler’s Christmas present. They’re durable and they don’t need batteries, not to mention they are fun, educational and encourage imagination and creativity. So why not go for the old school, less noisy option rather than the garish plastic toys out there this year. There is of course a place for flashing lights, beeps and buzzes, we certainly have plenty of those items in our household, but I’m going to go for the simpler stuff this Christmas and mix things up a little.
I have bought my son the Lelin Wooden Pretend and Play Kitchen for the big day. This means I can sit back and relax, whilst he cooks up the family turkey roast dinner with all the trimmings, Yum! You never know it might inspire him to be a budding young chef.
This is my pick of 12 beautifully made wooden toys, one for everyday of Christmas.
Happy playing for generations to come.
